The winner of this year's The Voice UK has announced two live dates.

Northern Ireland's Andrea Begley will perform a couple of shows in November as she builds on her TV talent show victory.

She will play Belfast's Ulster Hall on November 3 and then the Union Chapel in London a day later.

Begley commented: "I never ever, ever could have imagined this. Honestly first and foremost I have to thank everybody at home for voting for me and hopefully I will try my best to put your vote to good use and be a success – and thank you so much."

The singer managed to beat bookies' favourite Leah McFall in the final of the competition, which was held in late June.

The tour news, however, comes just days after Sir Elton John criticised The Voice for producing "non-entities".
