Example's "drugs and commitment album"

Example, real name Elliot Gleave, has revealed that his forthcoming album is his "drugs and commitment album".

The 'Kickstarts' star told The Guardian that his third record, 'Playing In The Shadows', is big on asking those all-important life-defining questions:

"This whole album is me asking: 'Should I be doing drugs? Should I be drinking? Should I commit? Should I stop partying? Should I settle down?'"

He did add, however, that when he eventually decides to settle down he won't be able to glorify drugs or the party scene in his lyrics any longer:

"I'm worried that being comfortable and having a family will mean I can't write songs that touch people any more. Then, if I do have a family, what will my kids think? What do I say to them when they hear me talking about cocaine like it's a beautiful woman?"

He is due to release the record on September 5 and you can watch the video for 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' here:
