George Michael fans have been remembering the singer today (December 26) after the music icon passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 53.

One of the many videos currently being shared on social media is a clip of Michael appearing alongside James Corden on what is effectively his first Carpool Karaoke sketch.

The two stars collaborated on the skit for Comic Relief years before his Carpool Karaoke segment launched on The Late Late Show. It sees Corden in his role as Smithy from Gavin and Stacey.

Corden was among the numerous stars who paid tribute following the death of Michael, which was attributed to heart failure. He wrote online: "I've loved George Michael for as long as I can remember. He was an absolute inspiration. Always ahead of his time."
