JLS reveal pride over Sport Relief single

JLS have expressed their pride at being asked to perform Sport Relief's official single.

The band released the track 'Proud' earlier this year to help raise funds for the charity.

Speaking on ITV's Daybreak this morning (March 8), the band said that they were "very, very proud" to be part of Sport Relief, with Oritse Williams opening up about a recent visit to Uganda.

Williams said that seeing the living conditions and lives of some of the Ugandan people had made the boyband "more determined" to make the single release as successful as possible. He said:

"Going out there and seeing some really disturbing things as well as amazing things. People go through some serious hardships but yet they're so appreciative of being alive every day and waking up in the morning. One thing it did is made us more determined to make this single as big a success as possible and make as much money as we can to really change these people's lives."
