Justin Bieber has left fans in the lurch after suggesting that his next single could be unleashed imminently.

As previously reported, the Canadian hunk has been teasing new song 'Heartbreaker' via his social networking channels for a number of weeks.

He has been regularly posting an image of the track's cover art and drip-feeding fans tidbits of teasing text.

Bieber's latest post, however, left his devotees in a state of excited confusion as he hinted that its release could take place soon. He said on Instagram alongside an image of the 'Heartbreaker' cover:

"It's gonna happen suddenly."
