Pop sensation Lady Gaga just finished her first day of shooting for the upcoming new season of 'American Horror Story: Hotel' and revealed that she had a great time. 

The beauty took to her official Twitter page this evening (August 11) and explained that being on set was nothing short of a dream come true: "Thoughts on first day shooting for AHS? I say, I've died and gone to my personal heaven."

Ryan Murphy, the show's co-creator, recently shed a little light on Gaga's character and told fans at an 'American Horror Story' panel: "She is a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art, fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode that plays out over the season."

Murphy also gave some information on the setting for the new series: "We were really inspired by the ideal of this hotel surveillance video that showed girl getting into elevator in haunted hotel and who was never seen again." The series is due to begin on October 7 on FX and this new 13-episode season runs through the end of January.
