The A Great Big World stars have revealed that they like UK based group One Direction and met them once at an awards ceremony. 

The musical duo, comprised of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, told MTV News that they're big fans of the boyband and think they release really 'catchy' songs. Chad explained:

"I love One Direction, I feel like they are super-talented and their songs are so catchy. 'Story Of My Life', I can't stop singing that song, even still, it's one of my favourite songs out there. We met them at the AMAs [American Music Awards] and they are so nice."

"I really love that it's catching on everywhere... it makes sense. It's good music and they're good guys."

One Direction, meanwhile, have just been nominated for two prizes at this year's Kid's Choice Awards, including the Music Group and Song titles. The ceremony is set to take place on March 29 in California.
