A host of top names have been confirmed to play at this year's Creamfields festival.

The dance-orientated shindig is due to take place on August 22, 23 and 24 in Daresbury, Cheshire.

'Hey Brother' star Avicii will headline the South Stage on the Saturday (August 23) of the event.

Other big names to perform over the bank holiday weekend include Calvin Harris, deadmau5 and Tiësto.

Some of the other acts set to take to the stage are Fatboy Slim, Hardwell, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren and Alesso.

The line-up for the Friday night (August 22) is due to be announced soon. Tickets will go on sale from Friday (February 28).
