'She Looks So Perfect' hitmaker Calum Hood recently had a chat with Sweden's SVT and opened up about being on the road away from his family. 

Singer Hood explained that homesickness is a tough thing to deal with, but the band's hectic schedule means that they're not sitting around missing people too much: "It was hard at first, but once you start getting busy... you don't forget about it, but it gets easier. I still text my mum everyday, like "how do you cook pasta?" because I still don't know..!"

The boys then spoke about their friendship with One Direction and member Ashton Irwin added that the lads have been very supportive of them after taking them on tour: "They're behind us, it's so nice to have friends like that and for them to support rock music. Their new album's great."

When asked if they keep in touch with the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs, singer Calum Hood added: "We see Niall (Horan) the most... we go to his house and kind of hang out, and play some music."
