The Libertines announce third London show

The Libertines have added another London gig to their schedule.

The band, who reunited to play a massive Hyde Park date this weekend, recently confirmed plans to play a couple of concerts at London's Alexandra Palace.

They were due to take place on September 27 and 28, but the indie icons will now play the same venue on September 26 after tickets sold quickly.

Tickets for the new date are on sale now.

Singer and guitarist Pete Doherty meanwhile recently told NME that the group are getting on better than ever despite their history, revealing:

"We're getting on better than we ever did. Even back in the day, The Libertines, in order for us to do it, it means you put everything else at risk, basically.

"I always use words like, 'Oh it's unfathomably great' or 'unspeakably great' but 'unspeakably great' would be the correct adjective now."
