Jack Antonoff on Taylor Swift: 'No one has sold that many records in 20 years, it's incredible'

Country-pop sensation Taylor Swift shifted an incredible 1.287 million copies of her new record '1989' in its first sales week, making it the fastest selling album in the US since Eminem's 'The Eminem Show' in 2002.

Now, Bleachers star Jack Antonoff, who co-wrote 'Out Of The Woods' with Swift, has opened up about the massive figure in a new interview with MTV News and praised her for being able to achieve something that hasn't been done in 20 years:

"She’s proving that she’s that one person who stands above the rest. And it’s amazing when people buy art and buy music — I get really excited. And for her to be doing numbers that people were doing 20 years ago is incredible."

When asked if they've been able to celebrate the success of their collaborative single and Swift's new album, Antonoff added that most of the congratulating has been done via technology:

"We’ve been doing a lot of celebrating over text. It’s just this exciting back and forth. I’m humbled by all of it. I feel humble to be a part of it. She always seemed humbled. It’s happening. It’s all wonderful.”
