The new Band Aid single will premiered on this weekend's X Factor.

The single is being launched by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for tackling the Ebola disease.

The likes of One Direction, Adele and Sam Smith will record the new version of 'Do They Know It's Christmas' on Saturday (November 15).

It has now been confirmed that the tune will then receive its debut on the X Factor on Sunday (November 16).

The single will be released on Monday (November 17).

The first Band Aid song was released in 1984 to aid anti-poverty efforts in Africa.
