Superstar Christina Aguilera was recently confirmed for a special cameo on the hit U.S. series 'Nashville' and one of her co-stars has revealed that shooting scenes with her was 'embarrassing' because she messed up her lines in front of the vocal sensation.

Actress Hayden Panettiere confessed that once she was on set with Aguilera, she because nervous as she's a huge fan and ended up flubbing her lines and turning red-faced: 

"She's one of my favourite singers of all time, she's so incredibly talented. I was actually very nervous around her when we first did the rehearsal. I walked in and... I open the scene with this funny line and I said it so wrong, it didn't even make an ounce of sense!"

"I don't know if it was because she felt bad for me, but she started laughing and I was like (cowering in embarrassment). But she's amazing and we had such a great time."

Aguilera features as Jade St. John, a pop superstar with country music dreams, in the show and back in February she told Billboard that it's an incredibly exciting opportunity: "We haven't started shooting, I actually leave for Nashville next week. But I can say my character is a successful pop singer who desperately wants to move into the country world, as that is her true passion. But she is caught between her passion and what the label wants her to do."
