The Janoskians to release concert special 'mockumentary' this summer

Marking the fourth anniversary of international comedic sensations The Janoskians, Awesomeness Films today announced the release of 'Janoskians: Untold and Untrue', a concert special set around the group’s sold out performance at Wembley arena.

A press release explains that "this semi-true story about the origins of the hugely successful Australian pranksters follows the Janoskians’ journey towards their ultimate goal of performing at Wembley Arena. The un-rated mockumentary takes fans behind-the-scenes to follow Beau, Luke, Jai, James and Daniel, as they come together, fight, makeup and perform their biggest hits".

Member Beau Brooks said: "Janoskians: Untold and Untrue is an epic, very uncensored, debate-ably honest, look at our lives together, from the beginning until now. It was an incredible experience and fans are going to be able to see us boys as never before."

Brian Robbins, Founder and CEO of AwesomenessTV, explained that working alongside the group was a lot of fun and has been fulfilling from both a personal and business perspective: "In four short years The Janoskians have developed a fanbase that will follow them anywhere, literally stopping traffic, which is why we want to be in business with them. They are an incredibly spirited crew and we are already planning our next project with them.”

AwesomenessTV confirmed that the movie will be available worldwide in August on digital video-on-demand services.
