Bajan beauty Rihanna, Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl and songstress Florence Welch have all been announced as performers at the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony. 

The organisation's Twitter account confirmed the exciting news earlier this evening (January 28) in a post that reads: "Dave Grohl, @rihanna & Florence Welch will perform at Person of the Year honouring @LionelRichie! #MusiCaresPOTY."

Ellie Goulding, Leon Bridges, and Chris Stapleton have also been added to the line-up for the event, which is due to be held on Saturday, February 13 in Los Angeles, and MusiCares is an organisation that "provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need."

Rihanna, meanwhile, just unveiled her new album 'ANTi' and has shared a link for fans to listen to it for free. This method of release means that the record isn't eligible for entry into the UK Official Albums Charts.
