Jack Garratt is on course to land his first UK No.1 album this week.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (February 22) that his debut record 'Phase' has reached No.1 after three days on sale.

It is almost 3,000 units ahead of its nearest rival, Adele's '25'.

At No.3 on the midweek update is David Bowie's 'Best of Bowie', while Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' drops one place to No.4.

Rounding off the midweek top five is Coldplay's 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.

Elsewhere in the chart, Sia's '1000 Forms Of Fear' is up 18 places to No.18.

Wolfmother, Daniel O'Donnell and Animal Collective are all in the top 40 with new entries.
