The Last Shadow Puppets heading for second UK No.1 album

The Last Shadow Puppets are at the top of the UK midweek albums chart update.

The Official Charts Company confirmed today (April 4) that Alex Turner and Miles Kane's second record 'Everything You've Come to Expect' is leading by over 5,000 units.

Should they stay at No.1 come Friday (April 8), they will land their second UK No.1 album.

At No.2 on the midweek update is Lukas Graham's self-titled effort, while Pet Shop Boys' 'Super' is another new entry at No.3.

Following is Black Stone's Cherry's 'Kentucky', with Adele's '25' dropping three places to No.5.

Weezer's 'Weezer (White Album)', Mogwai's 'Atomic', Sunset Sons' 'Very Rarely Say Die' are all new entries in the top 20.

Sasha's 'Scene Delete' is in at No.23, while Explosions in the Sky's 'The Wilderness' is two places behind at No.25.
