Tom Jones has announced that he will be topping the bill at the legendary Big Top on the second day of next year’s Isle Of Wight festival.

The festival – which runs from June 10-12, 2011 – already features headlining appearances by Kasabian, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and recently reunited Pulp.

Festival promoter John Giddings said of the Welsh singer: "What can I say that hasn't been said about this man and his voice? We are so proud that he has chosen to play our Festival next summer. It will be incredible.”
