Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus in most popular Fourth of July YouTube songs

Billboard magazine has revealed that YouTube data collected from 2013-2015 shows a spike in 14 songs in particular on the Fourth of July every year. 

Katy Perry's 'Firework' and 'Teenage Dream', and 'Party In The USA' by Miley Cyrus both feature on the list, but it also includes some more traditional American anthems. You can see the full list below. 

Earlier today, 5SOS's Ashton Irwin remarked upon all the songs that have references to the holiday, tweeting: "Songwriters rejoice around the world today for the lyric "light it up like the 4th of July"."

Other stars have been celebrating Independence Day online and Nathan Sykes tweeted: "Happy 4th of July to those of you who celebrate it!! Looking forward to being back in the US in a few weeks!!"
