Snakehips say they haven't met Zayn Malik in person yet, despite working on a hit collaboration together.

The pair recently released the track 'Cruel', with the former One Direction man featuring in its promo video.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Snakehips' Oliver Lee admitted that he hasn't met Malik yet.

Instead, 'Cruel' was completed through the internet as the singer added his own flair to the song.

Lee said: "We ended up doing the track just by sending ideas back and forth on email, so we haven’t even met Zayn yet, which is a shame.

"We had the basic idea for it and he wrote some new things and added his spin and made it sound so sick with his own stamp on it.

“We are heading to LA soon and hoping to meet up. We need to celebrate the success of the song. He’s so talented.

"Of course we’ll have a few drinks, who knows what will happen, I guess we’ll see."
