The nominees for the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards have finally been unveiled and some of the UK's hottest acts will battle it out to win a coveted orange Blimp trophy. 

Stars from The X Factor have a significant presence in this year's nominations as Little Mix and Cher Lloyd both have 2 nods apiece and popular boyband One Direction have also made appearances in 2 separate categories. 

Elsewhere, heartthrobs The Wanted are up for the Favourite UK Band title, for which they will go head to head with the likes of JLS and One Direction, and both Adele and Jessie J have been nominated for Favourite UK Female Artist. 

The ceremony, which is set to be hosted by American actor Will Smith, will take place on April 1 and the full list of UK nominees is as follows:
