Three people killed in Bestival coach crashThree people have died in an accident which saw a coach returning from music festival Bestival crash into a tree in Surrey. A number of other passengers have been left seriously injured in the incident, which happened near the Hindhead Tunnel on the A3 at 11.50pm on Monday night (September 10). The 51-seat coach from Merseyside was travelling from Bestival in Isle of Wight, which took place over the weekend (6-9 September). No other vehicles are thought to have been involved in the crash, with police confirming that it is a "major incident". A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance meanwhile said: "Three people were pronounced dead at the scene and a total of 50 patients, some of whom have serious injuries, have been taken to hospitals across the region." This year's Bestival was headlined by the likes of Florence + The Machine and Stevie Wonder, with over 50,000 people attending.
