Songwriter Savan Kotecha has treated fans of One Direction to some details about the boyband's forthcoming new album, 'Take Me Home'.

Kotecha penned some of the tracks that feature on the cut and he has worked closely with the lads for some time now, recently telling Sugarscape how the members have been "a lot more involved" with this offering, and took to his official Twitter page last night to share some interesting facts.

He wrote: "It should be known that @NiallOfficial also plays guitars on: #heartattack #changemymind #LWWY #KissYou #Backforyou #Stilltheone #Talented"

He also added that 'Take Me Home' is released next week (November 12): "Just realized "Take Me Home" is out next week! Excited!!! I hope you guys like it!! #especiallycantwaitforyoutohearheartattack"

Kotecha spoke to Pressparty earlier this year and explained his working relationship with the lads, describing them as a fantastic bunch:

"I was their vocal producer on the X Factor, so I was there from the beginning for the group, and I helped see them through the whole X Factor process so we know each other very well. Being a part of their journey from the start makes their success extra special. And it obviously helps that they are great guys!"
