Eve clarifies 'Britney Spears didn't sing on 'Scream & Shout'' comment

Rap sensation Eve has explained that when she accused Britney Spears of not singing on 'Scream & Shout', she was referring to a specific part of the song rather than the whole vocal.

Speaking to Andy Cohen about the track, Eve said: "I heard that might not be Britney. That's what I heard, but you know, I don't know ... it could be Britney. But I heard it wasn't."

Spears' representative, Jeff Raymond, then went on record and told TMZ that it's "absolute BS. Britney sang the song. Will.i.am wanted her for the song and she sang on it."

Following the backlash from her remarks, the 'Tambourine' hitmaker took to her official Twitter page and explained exactly what she meant: "Come on ya'll My comment was not about Britney Spears NOT singing the song - clearly it's her. It was about the British accent-pay attention."
