X Factor 2010 contestant Gamu Nhengu has unveiled her debut single and video.

The talented singer hit the headlines when appearing on the TV talent show after being dumped by Cheryl Cole in favour of Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel.

She had been an early favourite to win the show after impressing during the audition stage, but Nhengu left at the Judges' Houses section and was subsequently threatened with deportation to her family's native Zimbabwe.

Gamu, however, penned a record contract and has now revealed her debut single 'Shake The Room', which will be released on April 14.

It is the flagship track from forthcoming debut album 'A Love Like This'.

Gamu has also released a video for 'Shake The Room', which sees numerous versions of the singer dance in front of a white background.
