Tony Bennett has expressed his excitement at working with Lady Gaga.

As previously reported, the veteran crooner and the 'Born This Way' icon are due to team up in the near future to record an album.

Speaking to the AP, Bennett said that the record will be "swing" orientated, adding that he thinks Gaga is a big star. He said:

"We're doing a big swing album and I'm looking forward to it. She's a wonderful person and a great talent."

Bennett continued: "We have it all worked out already on paper and we'll just talking about it and we can't wait to do it. She's quite different."

The somewhat unlikely pair have previously worked together on the 2011 track 'The Lady Is A Tramp'.
