Duke Dumont’s ‘Need U (100%)’ featuring A*M*E is the UK’s latest No 1 single.

The tune ousts last week’s No. 1 single PJ and Duncan’s ‘Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble’ which has moved down to No. 6.

DJ/producer Dumont was previously known for his expert remixes of artists such as Lily Allen and Mystery Jets, but is now scoring his first chart-topper.

Duke Dumont told OfficialCharts.com "I'd just like to thank everybody that went out and purchased Need U 100%. I've been making music for about six years now - remixes and making club music - but this is my first song I've had in the Charts. It means even more to me that everyone went out and bought it and made it Number 1!

"Unfortunately A*M*E is away recording in Los Angeles, but I'm sure she'd want to thank everybody, too. She was a fantastic talent to work with and really made the record what it is."
