Donald Trump records message of support for Miley Cyrus

Donald Trump has become the latest big name to wade into the debate over Miley Cyrus's recent MTV VMAs performance.

The 'We Can't Stop' star turned heads at the weekend (August 25) after performing a raunchy routine at the Brooklyn ceremony.

She was criticised for overstepping the taste boundary as she gyrated up against collaborator Robin Thicke.

Business guru Donald Trump has now recorded a Vine video message of support for Cyrus, saying:

"Miley, don't let them get you down. They're all jealous."

Justin Timberlake meanwhile was one of the other few supporters of Cyrus's performance, saying:

"This was where Madonna came out in a wedding dress and humped the stage. This is where Britney did the striptease. This is where you do it. What did you guys expect?!"
