Songstress Melanie C has confessed that her Spice Girls bandmates are keen to play matchmaker and find her a suitable man to date. 

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, the 'I Turn To You' hitmaker explained that after splitting from Thomas Starr, whom she was with for around 10 years, the other members of her group want to see her in a loving relationship so often try to set her up:

"The girls always try and set me up with men, just like any friends, but we haven't had any success yet. There's been a couple of occasions. But I'm a little too busy being a mum and working. 'I don't think I could try internet dating. Single Celebrity Dating website, maybe I should set one up, called Groucho."

She went on to add that she is actually really enjoying the single life because so many opportunities are opening up to her career-wise: "It's great being single, it's loads of fun, life starts at 40. I've had a wonderful couple of years and some great job opportunities."
