Former Disney superstar Miley Cyrus has revealed that the reason she's been pictured without her engagement ring (see photo below) recently is because she had to send it off to get resized.

Her backup singer, Lindsey Lee, tweeted a message earlier this week about missing her own engagement ring and wrote: "Had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed... one of the little diamonds fell out... I feel naked without it :( so sad!"

Upon seeing the post, Cyrus replied publicly to her and explained that she's had the same problem with her piece of jewellery, but was upset with the press starting rumours about her impending wedding: "@lindseyjlee ugh that's the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off."

Lee then showed her support for Cyrus amid all of the reports that suggest her engagement has been called off and added: "OMG that sucks! people just need to mind their own business ;) I saw first hand how happy u & Liam are. Don't let them get to u!"
