Nicole Scherzinger teases "in-your-face" new album

Nicole Scherzinger has given more details about her forthcoming new album, suggesting that some of the tracks will "take no prisoners".

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut album 'Killer Love', which hit No.8 in the UK upon release.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Scherzinger revealed that one of her new songs is overtly prominent and avoids any subtleties. Speaking about the producers she has been working with, the X Factor UK judge said:

"I've done this track with Dallas Austin that I think is really strong, it's really in-your-face. It takes no prisoners."

She continued: "But I'm also really proud of the stuff I've written with Toby Gad. I really let down my guard and showed my true colours on my songs. My favourite songs are the ones that really come from the heart."

Scherzinger also revealed that she has been working with will.i.am on the new record.
