Ivor Novello nominee Olly Murs has hit No. 5 in the US iTunes chart this weekend with his first album release across the pond.

The cheeky chappy tops the charts following a great week following his single, "Dance With Me Tonight" getting an Ivor Novello Award nomination in the PRS For Music Most Performed Work category.

Olly’s next single "Dear Darlin’", which he co-wrote with Ed Drewett drops on June 3.

He said: “It’s not the kind of song you’d expect me and Ed to write, as we’re bubbly characters, but we were able to open up to each other.”
