 Michael Baker is a London based singer-songwriter who is officially releasing his debut “Keys To The Kingdom” Deluxe EP on 27th April 2015. Lead track “Dust And Bone” features Georgia Mason (Kid Gloves / Universal), whose unique vocal compliments Michael's perfectly, their soaring harmonies creating a haunting but beautiful sound.  This incredible talent has been recognized very early on with the EP already being selected as Record Of The Day.

 Michael has worked very closely with long time collaborators/producers and friends Speakman Sound and a strong collective of musical talent to produce this cohesive five track EP, with three outstanding videos. He has poured his heart and soul into this self- release, which is demonstrated through the sound of the raw emotive music, creating feelings of energy, belonging and serenity. Michael is currently recording his debut album and collaborating with renowned producers Dan Brown (Massive Attack and Phantom Limb) and Jim Lowe (Stereophonics).

There is honesty to Michael's music captivating the listener and comforting you with words that ring true. The video for “Leaving It All” is about growing older leaving the city and your ambitions behind, going back to your small hometown where life is peaceful and familiar. This is a feeling that anyone living a big city has thought about at least once....

Michael's live show has seen him tour with his full band, feature as “Cafe Nero's Artist of the month”' including play listing across all of the UK cafes and a support slot with The Noisettes. All this whilst living on the road in a camper van and busking to making a living, this shows the sacrifices one must make to one day have the Keys To The Kingdom ...
