5 Seconds of Summer 'loving' new album recording process

5 Seconds of Summer are "loving" recording their new album.

The Australians are currently holed up in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut record.

They have enlisted the likes of Sum 41's Deryck Whibley, the Madden brothers and Bonnie McKee to co-write.

Speaking on Twitter today (March 25), the group wrote:

"Epic day recording today...Lovin making this record..."

5 Seconds of Summer have resumed their working relationship with producer John Feldmann on the album.

The band meanwhile this week revealed the first act signed to their record label imprint Hey Or Hi.
