5 Seconds of Summer say they have put their all into their new album.

The Australian group will release their second studio record 'Sounds Good Feels Good' on October 23.

Speaking in a post on Twitter on Sunday (August 16), the band said that they have poured everything into the collection.

They wrote: "We put our heart and soul into 'Sounds Good Feels Good'.

"I've never been more proud of anything in my life..."

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile performed latest single 'She's Kinda Hot' at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday.

The tune was the first track to be taken from their upcoming record.
