During a new interview with The Project in Australia, the 5 Seconds Of Summer lads opened up about a variety of topics and when asked if they keep in touch with former tour buddies One Direction, they said: 

"Yes. With Niall, specifically. He's a good lad. I'm sure he's (Zayn) okay. I know Niall is pursuing golf, though. If you check his Instagram, he posts about golf a lot. I'd like to hear some Irish folk from him!"

The hosts then joked that their new song 'Girls Talk Boys' already has a five-star rating on iTunes despite the fact that it hasn't even been unveiled yet and the lads said: "The risk is with that is they're putting a lot of faith in us. I mean, we like the song so hopefully you guys will."

The band's drummer Ashton Irwin also explained that they're trying to perform live in as many places as possible while they're on the road with their Sounds Live Feels Live tour: "It's good. We went to a lot of new places so far this year. We went to Finland, we went to Estonia... and countless other places. We're just trying to do our best to go to as many places as we can."
