Adam Levine praises "great singer" Jessie J

Adam Levine has revealed his admiration for fellow The Voice coach Jessie J.

The Maroon 5 singer has been a coach on the TV talent show since 2011 whilst Jessie J signed up for the first series of the UK edition in early 2012.

Levine was asked by The Sun what he thought of the UK version's coaches, to which he replied:

"Jessie J is a great singer. To be honest, I didn't know much about her but she was on our show and I was like 'Damn, that girl can sing'."

He continued: "The biggest problem is a lot of people on these shows can't sing. So why are you giving them advice? But The Voice makes sense because we're all singers. It's like anything - I wouldn't accept advice on making shoes unless you were a shoemaker."

As previously reported, Levine has recently been discussing Maroon 5's smash hit track 'Moves Like Jagger' with the media, with the singer believing the track is an "inch away from disaster".
