Alex Dark recently release the Higher EP, which contains two original tracks (Higher and The Seconds) and two remixes for Higher made by Damned and Guardian Gate.

Damned and Guardian Gate was the winners from "Alex Dark - Higher Remix Competition".

At the competition was more than 21 submissions, it was hard to chose just two, all tracks was good and have something special, that was the proof that producers worked hard for this competition.

Short interview with Alex Dark about "Higher" EP

Q:What determinate you to starting this Ep?

A:I wanted to make my first EP with some of my tracks and remixes from those tracks, and I also put a competition for people to remix "Higher" so I can see what people can get out of my track.

Q:How would you describe yourself?

A:I'm very friendly, and I like to make people laugh and entertain them by playing music.

Q:Who were the most influential people in your life as far as being a producer is concerned?

A:My friends most of the times.

Q:What prompted you to create the “Higher”?

A:Higher started when I was looking to combine dubstep into moombahton and see what it sounds like.

Q:What goals do you wish to accomplish as a producer?

A:I don't want to be classified by Billboard as top 10 most paid DJ's, I just want to make a living out of it and entertain people, that's the thing that I love the most.

Q:Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

A:Touring America or Europe.

Q:What are your goals for the next five years?

A:To play at some of the best venues and festivals around the world.

Q:Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?

A:Daft Punk made something new when they started and I think that most producers nowadays are inspired by them as well as me, also Rob Swire because of his sick vocals and songs.

Q:How do you handle mistakes during a performance?

A:I try to improvise to make everything sound right.

Q:Any words for producers that want to learn from you?

A:Never give up of your dreams!
