Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Ariana Grande has announced that her highly anticipated seventh full length album eternal sunshine will be released on March 8 via Republic Records. 

The date will mark the end of a long wait for a new LP from Grande, who hasn't released an album since 2020's positions. Aside from a few collaborations and a 10th anniversary re-release of her debut record Yours Truly, the global superstar has spent the past few years focusing on her role in the upcoming Wicked films and her R.E.M. Beauty business.

Last Friday, Grande released eternal sunshine's lead single "yes, and?" - written and produced by Grande, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh, and accompanied by an official video directed by Christian Breslauer. 

The song debuted at Number One on the Spotify Global Chart, capturing her biggest Spotify streaming debut to-date. In addition, the single secured the Number One spot on Apple Music Top 100 Global, and the official music video claimed Number One on YouTube Trending for Music.

"yes, and?" is the singer's first new solo music since her acclaimed sixth studio album positions was released in October 2020. It saw Grande achieve her fifth Number One album on the Billboard 200 chart after moving 174,000 equivalent album units. The song POV was the last solo single by the singer to hit radio in March 2021.
