Bon Jovi to headline Isle of Wight Festival
Bon Jovi has been named as one of the headliners of next year's Isle of Wight Festival.
The American veterans will top the bill at the iconic festival on Sunday June 16.
It will be their only UK festival show of 2013 and the band said that they are "honoured" to headline the main stage. Jon Bon Jovi said:
"The Isle of Wight Festival is legendary and we're excited to join in the long tradition of Rock 'n' Roll history. We are honoured to be the headliners on the Main Stage Sunday night. This will mark our first visit to the island and I expect it will prove to be a highlight of our tour and of 2013."
The announcement follows news that The Stone Roses will also headline a day at the festival.
The reformed Madchester group will play on the Friday night of the shindig on June 14.
