Carrie Underwood won't pull a Taylor Swift: 'That really isn't me at all'

'Blown Away' sensation Carrie Underwood has revealed that she won't start releasing pop songs in an attempt to maintain her current level of fame because that is simply 'not her'.

Speaking to Digital Spy about her future plans, the beauty admitted that she has no plans to change her preferred genre to fit what's popular and when asked if she might 'do a Taylor Swift' said:

"That's not really my goal, that's not me at all. I grew up listening to country music. That's my home, and that's where I want to stay. I don't really do remixes or things like that - I just never have. Our goal in my team and what we've always talked about is making country music that everybody can like, you know."

Underwood, whose new album 'Storyteller' is out tomorrow (October 23), went onto talk about her approach to social media and confessed that she tries not to overthink it: "I think I'm pretty conservative and I try not to over think it as far as - some people you follow and it's almost like their PR team is putting out stuff, and some people post 50 things a day. I don't know, it's like, if I have something to share, I'll share it. I don't want it to be a business tool. I want it to be a way to connect with people."
