Christina Aguilera reveals 'Lotus' album cover art

'Your Body' hitmaker Christina Aguilera has unveiled the cover art for her upcoming new studio album, 'Lotus'.

The songstress and current panelist on The Voice USA shared the image via her official Twitter account earlier this afternoon (October 5) and it shows her posing naked in a blossoming lotus flower, and the whole scene is bathed in a luminous light.

During a Twitter chat about the album last month, she explained her reasons for choosing 'Lotus' as the title: "Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives."

"Conceptually I didn’t target one particular sound/genre. I made [music] that felt good."

She also recently spoke out about her music career and admitted that she's more of a risk-taker now because she has already released a collection of greatest hits, so she feels that everything new can be experimental to an extent. 'Lotus' is due to be released on November 13.
