Max Launches National Beatport Presents HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Remix Challenge

May 13, 2024 – In celebration of the highly anticipated second season of the HBO® Original drama series HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, debuting on SUNDAY, JUNE 16, Max has announced opening submissions for the national Beatport Presents House of the Dragon Remix Challenge with the electronic music hub, Beatport. With Westeros on the brink of a civil war as the Green and Black Councils fight for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively, fans and artists are invited to raise their banners through music.

Information and rules for the Beatport Presents House of the Dragon Remix Challenge are provided below, see the Official Rules for complete details:

Kicking off today through May 29, residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C., 18 years of age and older, who are fans, artists, and music enthusiasts are encouraged to join the battle of the beats and submit their remixes to the iconic HOUSE OF THE DRAGON theme song using stem files, which can be downloaded from the Beatport-owned platform Loopcloud.com.

All remixes should be submitted via the link below, where they will be judged by select cast members from HBO’s HOUSE OF THE DRAGON, Beatport, and Ed Banger Records.

Prize Package:

Two (2) winners will be selected from the remix challenge – one winning Green remix and one winning Black remix. Each winner will receive an official release on WaterTower Music, one (1) year subscription to Beatport Studio, one (1) year subscription to Beatport Pro or Beatsource Pro Streaming, 100 LabelRadar credits and a $10,000 cash prize.

Four (4) runners-up will be selected from the remix challenge. Each runner-up will receive One (1) six (6) month Beatport Studio Subscription, One (1) six (6) Beatport Pro or Beatsource Pro Streaming subscription, and Fifty (50) LabelRadar credits.

Key Dates:

• The competition launches on May 13, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
• The deadline for entries ends on May 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
• The winner will be announced on or about June 14 on Beatportal, and on the Beatport, LabelRadar, Loopcloud, and HBO social handles.
• The eight-episode second season of the HBO Original drama series HOUSE OF THE DRAGON debuts SUNDAY, JUNE 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
