Organisers of Canada's prestigious Juno Awards have announced the nominees for this year's ceremony. 

Rap sensation Drake, teen heartthrob Justin Bieber and pop-rock princess Avril Lavigne have all been recognised in different categories and will go head to head for the coveted Album of the Year title, for which Nickelback have also been nominated.

Artist of the Year will give judges a difficult choice as Michael Buble, Drake, deadmau5, City and Color and Feist are all in the running, and Nickelback are up for Group of the Year. 

The International Album of the Year category includes 2 British acts, namely Adele and Coldplay, and also gave nods to LMFAO, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. The Juno Awards ceremony is set to take place on April 1 in Ottawa.
