Ed Sheeran on Hilary Duff recording sessions: 'We went into the studio at 1am - she was a trooper'

'Lego House' sensation Ed Sheeran recently confirmed that he had been in the studio writing new music with former 'Lizzie McGuire' star Hilary Duff and he has now opened up about their recording session.

Speaking to On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the hitmaker explained that it was a very late night session and it was the only time he was able to make it, so he was surprised by how agreeable she was with the schedule:

"The only time I was available was 1 a.m. and she was a trooper. She came in, she vocaled it, and yeah, I’m very, very happy with the results. And I hope she is too!”

During an interview with Digital Spy last month, Sheeran explained that her new material and sound is likely to surprise her existing fanbase: "I think it'll be cool. She's been gone for so long living family life that I think there are a lot of fans waiting for something new. I feel like her record is not what they will expect."
