Ellie Goulding on Dougie Poynter romance: 'We're realistic about things'
Songstress Ellie Goulding has revealed that having a long-distance relationship with boyfriend Dougie Poynter is challenging, but they're both so into each other that they make it work.
During an interview with Lorraine Kelly, the beauty explained that it definitely isn't easy, but they both put significant effort into their communications:
"We don't see each other much. He's out in LA working really hard, he's doing all sorts of things. He's started acting which is amazing and he's a complete natural so I'm really excited to see what comes of that. We figure it out - we are pretty realistic with things and we are pretty sensible about it, so we just see each other when we can."
When asked if there might be wedding bells in the future, she added: "It's just that kind of time when everything comes up in the air and you don't know what's going to... but at some point maybe!"
She also recently told Red magazine that she actually hated men before she met the McFly heartthrob and was surprised that he managed to change her opinion so quickly and profoundly: "Before him, I was having a single period and hating all men, saying never again, after a series of things that happened to me. But then I met him and was like, uh-oh, game over. He was just so nice."
