(Los Angeles, CA) - Rising singer-songwriter Devin Kennedy has announced the release of his brand new single “BODY”, to be released June 15th, 2018! “BODY” is an experimental track that showcases Devin’s dynamic range as an artist. This track has deep R&B and pop roots and is tied together through Devin’s ability to tell a story through his sultry lyrics. “BODY” is sure to be added to everyone’s playlist this summer.

Devin’s latest single “Waste of Time” which was made available on April 13th, 2018 has garnered over 70k streams since the release. “Waste of Time” is an anthem about breaking free from toxic relationships and those emotions are felt in Devin’s use of moody background vocals and the prominence of a strong kick drums throughout the track. The murky buildup of the song resolves with a catchy chorus declaring the singer’s freedom from the shackles of the past relationships.

Growing up in a family with an extensive musical lineage, Devin Kennedy knew there was only one path for him in life. As a kid, he taught himself to play drums, bass, guitar, and piano and wrote songs here and there, but he began writing and releasing music seriously when he was accepted to Berklee College of Music. Without any promotion or team behind him, Devin released his EP Love Language to much acclaim. His debut single “Call Me Back” has garnered over 110k Spotify streams and he’s currently sitting at 41k Monthly Spotify Listeners. He’s received praise from the likes of B-sides and Badlands, DASH Radio, Gems and Secrets, Gas Mask Magazine, and ThatEricAlper.

Beyond releasing solo music, Devin Kennedy has also toured across North America with former Big Time Rush member James Maslow.
