Jay’s latest album “The Missing”, released Monday June 20th, is the kind of music the soul singer is known for – with ravenous grooves and vocals that just fly out the speakers. Her mesmerizing live show combines dashes of urban beats, hints of funk and splashes of neo soul. Along with her power packed live performances, Jay Power’s reputation as an Australian act to watch is well and truly justified. A finalist for South Australian Female Artist of the year 2015, Jay Power has previously supported Australia's mother of soul Renee Geyer numerous times and has recently shared the stage with the likes of Tina Arena (AUS) Z-Star (UK) and Hollie Smith (NZ).

Power has already seen major radio success with both commercial and alternative airplay including spins on Triple J and Fresh FM. To contend with her electrifying live performances, Jay Power has built a band of the highest order consisting of world class, multi award-winning musicians including drummer Jack Baker (Alice Russell) and guitarist Sebastien Heintz (Z-Star). Between them they have played at some of the biggest festivals in the world including Glastonbury, Coachella, Pukkelpop and WOMAD UK.

It’s no surprise that Jay’s abundance of sass caught the attention of a capella group The Sons Of Pitches who were keen for Power to bring her raw, uplifting soulful show and souring vocals to their tour. After hearing her empowering debut album “The Missing”, the winners of Gareth Malone’s BBC2 TV’s primetime hit show “The Naked Choir” invited Jay Power to perform her stomping show on an exclusive selection of sold out dates in June.
