Joey Costello returns to the UK- "So High We Lose Our Minds" released 30th March 2018

Announcing UK Shows supporting Blair Dunlop, Emma Stevens & Brooke Sharkey

Chicago songwriter Joey Costello is back with a brand new single, and it's very special. 'So High We Lose Our Minds' is a song that revels in the beauty of just how messed up life is, and is released in the UK on 30th March.

Costello is an American Singer-songwriter whose songs draw influences of truth, hope and love. Possessing a voice that catches a listener's attention with ease, 'So High We Lose Our Minds' is a very highly anticipated release from listeners that have tuned into his previous success. Within days of landing in the UK, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio were playing Costello's music during a busy year of UK & USA live shows in 2017.

Costello's new single is a warm and catchy release that draws in the listener with his intricate songwriting and heavenly chorus's.

The original intention of "So High We Lose Our Minds" is to be a song that revels in the beauty of just how messed up life is. It seeks to showcase both the light and the dark, and uses "so high" as a metaphor for these often-dissonant feelings. But beyond its original intention, "So High We Lose Our Minds" is proof that music can bring people together in crazy, beautiful, unique ways.– Joey Costello

On top of every set list, Costello writes "Tell Your Story". He hopes to tell a story through his music every time that he performs. He is excited to announce his shows in support of the excellent Blair Dunlop in Cambridge, Brooke Sharkey in Bath and Emma Stevens in London and Bristol.

Costello has often been compared to the likes of Passenger and City and Color as his songs are built on bold heartfelt statements. He traveled to the UK in 2017 to make a new life for his music and collaborate with British musicians. The new single "So High We Lose Our Minds" features Nottingham songwriters Theo Theo and Iona Wellington.
