'Hold Back The River' sensation James Bay hosted a Twitter Q&A this evening and chatted with fans about a variety of topics. 

Talking to his followers about the creative process, he shared his favourite thing about putting together an album: "Song writing is fun AND frustrating. But brings the best reward!"

When asked if he plans to learn a new instrument this year, Bay admitted that he actually wants to improve on existing musical skills: "I'm pretty pants at piano and drums. I'd love to be better at both."

Another fan quizzed him on his artistic ability and he confessed that he likes to paint and draw: "I like drawing people. Sometimes with oil and acrylic is fun but I even like using a biro, whatever's near by." He also made a cryptic remark about pre-show rituals and explained that he does have one, but won't tell anyone what it is: "Just one. And it shall never be revealed..."
